Glasshouse Gardens Sales Launch Success

The success of Lend Lease’s first Glasshouse Gardens sales launch events in Britain, Singapore and Hong Kong has seen a big win for the team.

The 330 new homes known as Glasshouse Gardens will see the first completion from spring/summer 2016, and form  part of The International Quarter, a joint venture between Lend Lease and LCR to deliver a £1.3bn commercial and residential development in Stratford. The project gives Lend Lease a unique opportunity to create a sustainable and lively residential community and workplace environment. It also allows the company to take part in another mixed-use regeneration project alongside Elephant & Castle.

In Britain, the launch events started on Thursday 9 January, with a press and buyer preview event – the first global launch for Glasshouse Gardens. Lend Lease Head of Offices, Kevin Chapman presented on the development and wider International Quarter project at the event, while Adam Challis, Jones Lang LaSalle’s Head of Research, presented key research findings on the London residential market. The event was well attended and received by external stakeholders, LCR, key members of the press, buyers and internal senior Lend Lease management.

On 11 and12 January, the public sales launch events took place on the twelfth floor of the Stratford Staybridge Suites – a perfect location overlooking the residential site with spectacular views further enhanced by the rare clear day. Across both days in the UK there were many interested groups in attendance at the launch, with reservations in the double digits. The team experienced a consistently busy two days with a great atmosphere in the room from both buyers and sales staff.

On the same weekend, Glasshouse Gardens also launched its first exhibition in Singapore, with the Asia team experiencing two very busy event days at The Regent Hotel. Most recently, last weekend the team were also in Hong Kong and were thrilled to emulate the success experienced in Singapore.

Kristy Lansdown, Project Director for The International Quarter, said: “We are delighted with the response to Glasshouse Gardens at the UK, Singapore and Hong Kong launch events, and hope to mirror the success in the upcoming Shanghai exhibition taking place on 22-23 February.”
